We're looking for great leaders to join our Board of Directors. Directors serve three-year terms, during which time they direct and oversee the activities of the organization with an emphasis on organizational strategy, financial sustainability, and programmatic activities.
We’re looking for thoughtful, engaged leaders who reflect the diversity, passion, and vision of the Technologists for the Public Good (TPG) community. Specifically, they will reflect:
TPG Membership in good standing at any subscription level.
Commitment to upholding our Mission, Code of Conduct and Board of Director Guidelines.
Representation from an underrepresented group in civic tech or the identities and perspectives of our current Board.
Experience in fundraising and serving as an external representative of an organization.
Understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing today’s civic technologists — across sectors, levels of government, and communities.
Vision of how civic technology can evolve and lead amid today’s public sector realities.

Submit your nominations for TPG’s Board of Directors and help shape the future of tech for the public good.
June 26 - 30: Candidate Video Submissions
Confirmed candidates record and submit video introductions to share their vision with the TPG community.
July 8 - 11: 🗳️ Member Voting
Members cast their votes to help decide who will represent them on the TPG Board.
July 14-20: Candidate Notifications
All candidates are personally informed of the election results during this window.
